It’s not a sales pitch. It’s a conversation.
One of the things I hear most often from new clients is:
“I didn’t know what to expect from this call, but I’m really glad I booked it.”
If you’re thinking about working with a creative coach — but aren’t sure what it actually means, or whether it’s right for you — that’s exactly what the free 20-minute call is for.
Let’s take the mystery out of it. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what a free discovery call with me looks like:
This is not a pressure-filled sales call.
It’s a relaxed, one-on-one chat (video or phone) — a chance for us to connect and see where you’re at creatively. You can tell me a little about your art or design practice, what’s been feeling stuck or unclear, and what you’re hoping to work toward.
No pressure. No prep needed. You don’t even have to know exactly what you need yet — that’s part of what we’ll uncover together.
I’ll usually ask a few simple, open-ended questions like:
This helps me get a sense of your creative goals, where you’re feeling stuck, and what kind of support might help.
You might leave the call with a better understanding of what’s blocking you, a clearer next step, or just the feeling of being seen and heard in your creative work.
Sometimes that’s all you need to start moving again.
And if it feels like we’d be a good fit to keep working together, I’ll explain what that could look like — but only if you’re curious. You’ll never get a hard sell from me.
Think of this call as a creative check-in — a safe space to explore what’s going on in your practice and whether coaching could help.
You’re welcome to take time afterward to think about it, or come back when you’re ready. Either way, the time is yours, and I’m glad you showed up for it.
If you’re an artist or designer who’s feeling blocked, overwhelmed, or just unsure of what’s next, let’s talk.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
It might be exactly the breath of fresh air you’ve been needing.
